Invitation to Skills for Work and AONTAS Event October 24th 12.00

Skills for Work and AONTAS would like to extend an invitation to you to attend the closing event of the ‘Learning Today for a Better Tomorrow EU project.

Skills for Work is a national workplace educational programme funded by the Department of Education and Skills. The aim of Skills for Work is to provide educational opportunities to adults in employment who may have left school early with no formal educational qualifications or qualification which may be out of date and wish to up-skill with the support of their employer.   Skills for Work courses are delivered by the local Education & Training Boards (ETBs).

Skills for Work provides workplace education courses to more than 2700 employees each year.

This will be an opportunity to meet with employers and employees from companies who have participated in the Skills for Work Programme and of course to hear about the recent study trip to Malta by Skills for Work participants.

As National Coordinator for the EAAL AONTAS led out on the project ‘Learning Today for a Better Tomorrow’ 2015 -2017. Working closely with Skills for Work as well as the Project Advisory Committee, AONTAS was responsible for the effective communication and dissemination of this project.
